One of the oldest restaurants on 30a - great fried pickles and coconut shrimp. Be sure to get the New Orleans bbq shrimp and sausage for the table or as an entree. The snow and king crab steamer was delicious. I’ll be back

As someone who has been vacationing in Seaside, Florida every summer for more than twenty years, I can confidently say that Goatfeathers is a true hidden gem among local restaurants. This long-standing spot has built its reputation not only on the incredibly fresh, locally caught seafood from their own boats, but also on the wonderful people who make every visit special.
On our most recent trip, Patrick, the general manager, came by our table to chat and made us feel like family catching up after time apart. The service here is consistently excellent, with attentive staff who make sure you have everything you need throughout your meal.
We started with the raw oysters on the half shell, which were large, briny, and delicious. I always order the shrimp and grits, which are absolutely to die for and generously portioned—I ate every bite. The Brussels sprouts are another must-try, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.
Goatfeathers truly captures what makes dining on 30A so special: exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps you coming back year after year. Trust me... we will be back soon!
